Lacock in the sun!

What a difference a little sun makes to how we feel!  Especially after all the wet and grey weather we have had in this part of the world in recent weeks!

One sunny afternoon, earlier this week, my daughter made full use of her Christmas present, National Trust membership, to visit Lacock.  In particular, the Abbey, and to wander around the grounds where many spring flowers are now in bloom.

She and her boyfriend had great fun walking around the grounds, even playing on a rope swing they found!  They also explored the cloisters of the Abbey, which have become well know to many a film buff, especially Harry Potter fans!

They finished their afternoon with a visit to the Fox Talbot museum, but it seems that this little fellow captured their interest more than the history on show.  The cat came out of his basket for some fuss, but quickly returned to his spot in the sun!
