World Championship Snail Racing

I love some of the slightly more eccentric events that can be found on a summer Saturday in the UK, and this coming Saturday 20th July is no exception.  If you find yourself in West Norfolk this weekend do not miss the annual World Championship Snail Racing at Congham.  Yes, this is really a World Championship at a local village event, unless of course you know different? You can always race snails provided by the event organisers or find and take your own!
