The 630 km Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route links the capitals of Germany and Denmark from south to north.
Forest rich river valleys, quiet canal bank paths and hundreds of lakes accompany the long-distance cycle route in Germany, while on the Danish South Sea islands the sea is in the foreground with picturesque harbour towns and kilometres of beaches. From Berlin the cycle path leads up the Havel to the source of the Havel, crosses the Müritz National Park and the Mecklenburg Lake District and follows the Warnow Valley to the Hanseatic city of Rostock. After the ferry crossing from the seaside resort Warnemünde to Gedser, the South Sea islands Falster, Bogø, Møn and Seeland await you with harbour towns and fishing boats, lighthouses and chalk cliffs as well as kilometres of beaches. Lakes, forests and nature reserves alternate with old towns, castles and cliffs.
Forest paths and asphalted cycle paths as well as side roads determine the route on the six stages in Germany and four stages in Denmark.

Awarded at the ITB in Berlin 2012 as the best cycle guide series.
With a spiral bound, weather and tear resistant format, this guidebook/Atlas covers the North Sea Coast cycle route from the Dutch border Otterndorf before turning inland and ending at the Hamburg ferry across the Elbe from Steinkirchen.
It provides all the information a cyclist could need including route descriptions, place descriptions, bike friendly public transport and bike friendly accommodation.
Although entirely in German, this is an invaluable guide and Atlas for all cyclists planning to cycle all or some of this route.

8 daily stages - We accompany the Isar, "the wild one", from the source in the Karwendelgebirge up to the mouth into the Danube with Deggendorf. Around 350 kilometres of mountains, baroque and beer gardens!
The tour starts in Mittenwald. The place is known for its Lüftlmalereien. From the source of the river Isar via Scharnitz you first go to the Karwendelgebirge, where the river Isar rushes through gorges and then changes into a flat gravel bed. Munich is reached from the Sylvenstein reservoir via Bad Tölz and the rafting town of Wolfratshausen. Through the shady meadows of the Isar River via the cathedral town of Freising and the dukedom town of Landshut to the unspoilt floodplain landscape at the mouth of the river Deggendorf.
