In the Ruppiner Seenland you can follow the history of Prussia or follow in the footsteps of the region's famous sons - Theodor Fontane and Karl Friedrich Schinkel. The combination of natural and cultural highlights and the well-developed bike path network are almost a guarantee for many beautiful and successful bike tours in the state of Brandenburg. Fields, forests and many lakes determine the landscape, again and again the view grazes a beautiful castle, an impressive church and magnificent urban backdrop.

The Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park, which is rich in forests and waters, is the newest major conservation area in Brandenburg. Neighboring landscapes are the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park in the east, the Mecklenburg Lake District in the north, Ostprignitz in the west and Havelland in the south.

A visit to NaturParkHaus Stechlin in Menz is highly recommended.  It is surrounded by clear water lakes, such as the Stechlinsee, the largest clear water lake in northern Germany, and the Menzer Heide. The centerpiece is the village green, where the Feldsteinkirche, the old school building, the former Oberförsterei, the NaturParkHaus and the historic courtyards characterise the village atmosphere and charm due to the large number of the beautiful old Oak and Lime trees

Cyclists in the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land and Uckermark lakes should not miss the following highlights: Rheinsberg, one of Brandenburg's cultural centers with a castle and palace park, the water town Fürstenberg with the baroque palace and the idyllic village of Himmelpfort (known to many German children because of the Christmas post office, to which hundreds of thousands of wish lists are sent annually). Also worth mentioning are Wittstock / Dosse with the Old Bishop's Castle; Gransee - the old town located within the almost completely preserved medieval city wall is worth a trip alone; The "Fontane City" Neuruppin, where Schinkel also spent the first 13 years of his life.

The Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route is a well-signposted. The route runs parallel to the Havel cycle path through the district of Oberhavel towards the Mecklenburg Lake District and on to Rostock. Fontane Radweg has only been in existence for a year and covers approximately 270 km along the main route, in eight daily stages and with two variants through the Ruppiner Seenland, the Ostprignitz and the Havelland. Information boards at around 60 locations make Fontane's work in Brandenburg tangible. The map includes cycle routes of the The cycle routes historic city centers of Brandenburg, Mecklenburg Lake Cycle Path and the Tour Brandenburg.

Bikeline maps are specially developed for cyclists. The scale of 1: 75,000 gives a good overview of the selected region and also enables an accurate cartographic representation in detail. This level of detail is particularly important for a cycling map in order to achieve the best possible orientation within the terrain. The topographical basis is very clear and the color intensity is slightly reduced. This emphasizes the wheel information particularly well.

The map shows the most important long-distance cycle routes and the long-distance route giving a balanced main route network. The main route network is also condensed by a sensibly selected secondary route network. This combination of main and secondary routes makes it possible to discover a region on day or multi-day tours or to cross the area on a longer bike trip on pleasantly drivable paths.

In addition to the detailed topographic map, the cycling map also contains a lot of other helpful information. The legend explains all the information on the map very clearly: bike information, tourist information, topographical information as well as the scale with a scale bar. City and town maps of the major and larger cities and towns in the region make it easier to find your way through and when visiting sights.

Bikeline maps differentiate different types of routes according to the color of the lines (bike path / main route / secondary route), as well as the road surface according to the type of line (continuous / dashed / short dashed) and levels of traffic volume. Inclines, tourist infrastructure such as restaurants and accommodation, and the cultural and scenic sights of the region Region are clearly marked.

Bikeline maps are printed on wear resistant and water resistant.

Cancellations - non personalised/bespoke items

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations) provide consumers with the right to a 'cooling-off' period to allow you to change your mind. Under these regulations, you have the right to cancel your order, without explanation, within 14 days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and to return the goods for a refund within a further 14 days (28 days in total). The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to businesses nor to individuals who are trading or acting as a trader (buying goods to re-sell for profit) because no-one is the 'Consumer'.
