This One Inch to the Mile map is taken from the early Coloured Edition. It covers the area from Warwick and Leamington eastward to Rugby, and from Kings Newnham southward to Ladbroke. The colopured edition maps are especially useful for those following the railways, and this includes the long closed Leamington-Rugby line, part of the Weedon branch and a stretch of the GCR line from Rugby southward. Other features include the Warwick & Napton Canal, Kenilworth, Southam. The map covers a good area of central east Warwickshire, with just fragments of Northants at the eastern edge. On the reverse is a detailed map of the small town of Southam.

It is not possible to list the many hamlets, farmsteads and other topographical features shown on these maps. However, you might find it useful if we here list the majority of the principal villages and church parishes that are included on this map.
Northamptonshire: Catesby.
Warwickshire: Ashow, Baginton, Barford, Bilton, Birdingbury, Bishops Tachbrook, Bourton on Dunsmore, Brandon and Bretford, Brownsover, Bubbenhall, Budbrooke, Church Lawford

About the 'Inch to the mile' Series

These maps are taken from the famous Ordnance Survey "Inch to the Mile" Maps. Each provides an invaluable overview of a wide area, typically 18 miles across by 12 miles down (29 x 19 kms approx).

Each map has an introduction to the history of the area and most also include a more detailed, large scale map of a small town or village in the area.

These maps cover the whole of England, Wales and most of Northern Ireland (Plus some coverage of the Republic of Ireland) so offer historical mapping for small towns and villages not covered by the more detailed series for which the Godfrey Editions are better known.

The item will be kept on order for up to three months and supplied to you when it becomes available. After 3 months, we will cancel the order or the remainder of the order unless you ask us to keep it on back order for longer. Cancellations - non personalised/bespoke items

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations) provide consumers with the right to a 'cooling-off' period to allow you to change your mind. Under these regulations, you have the right to cancel your order, without explanation, within 14 days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and to return the goods for a refund within a further 14 days (28 days in total). The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to businesses nor to individuals who are trading or acting as a trader (buying goods to re-sell for profit) because no-one is the 'Consumer'. This means there is no 'cooling-off' period and the order cannot be cancelled once processed.

Cancellations - personalised/bespoke items

Where an order is placed for an item which is to be personalised or is bespoke, cancellation is not possible once production has started and these are expressly excluded from The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations).
