With this up-to-date, authoritative guide you can experience all the sights and "Best Of" recommendations for Vienna. You can discover great hotels, restaurants, trendy places and entertainment venues. There are also shopping ideas, tips on what to do on a limited budget and Insider Tips.
Also contains: Festivals & Events, Travel Tips, Travel with Kids, Links, Blogs, Apps & More, the Perfect Day in Vienna and index and pubic transport map. In addition to the large street atlas there''s a removable pull-out map. With MARCO POLO Vienna you can simultaneously embark on two journeys through time.
The practical travel guide, small enough to slip into your pocket, takes you back to the glorious past of a time-honoured Habsburg city and you can marvel at the imperial splendour all along the Ringstrasse. It takes you to places steeped in tradition and coffee houses around St Stephen''s Cathedral, but also catapults you into the multicultural, trendsetting world city of today. Be inspired by the mix of the beauty of the waltz and belief in the future, the mix of the Baroque and post-modern attitude to life!MARCO POLO Vienna''s Insider Tips tell you where you can enjoy fantastic opera for free, lay flowers on Mozart''s grave and get a great bird''s eye view of the city from the cathedral tower.
The low budget tips in each chapter show how you can experience a great deal with very little money, enjoy something special and snap up some real bargains. The "Where to Start" boxes tell you the best place to set off on your sightseeing tour, where the best buys are to be had and where it''s all happening in the evening. The "Best Of" pages show you what''s unique to Vienna, tell you about great places for free, and give tips on what to do on rainy days and where you can treat yourself and relax and chill out.
The Walking Tours take you through the former Jewish Quarter; to the classic Viennese cafes for a (well deserved) intake of calories; and to Vienna''s nearby mountains. And the Dos and Don''ts tell you why you should have a small black coffee rather than one with milk or cream, and always be appropriately dressed for the occasion. MARCO POLO Vienna gives comprehensive coverage all the city''s districts.
To help you find your way around there''s a detailed street atlas and practical map inside the back cover

Delivery

All items that are in stock will show a delivery timescale of 1-3 working days.  If your order consists solely of these items, then dispatch is within 1 working day of purchase with the exception of framed and customised items which may take up to 14 days.

If your order is a non-stock item, the delivery timescale on that item will show as 3-7 working days on the product details.  In these instances, dispatch is usually 3-5 working days with delivery in 5-7 working days.  If your item is delayed for any reason, we will update your order to provide an explanation of the delay, although it is not always possible to say how long the delay will be. The item will be kept on order for up to three months and supplied to you when it becomes available. After 3 months, we will cancel the order or the remainder of the order unless you ask us to keep it on back order for longer. Incomplete orders will be held until the remaining items come into stock, unless we anticipate a long delay. At our discretion, incomplete orders may be sent out as partial shipments if we anticipate that an item may take some time coming in to stock.

Cancellations - non personalised/bespoke items

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations) provide consumers with the right to a 'cooling-off' period to allow you to change your mind. Under these regulations, you have the right to cancel your order, without explanation, within 14 days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and to return the goods for a refund within a further 14 days (28 days in total). The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to businesses nor to individuals who are trading or acting as a trader (buying goods to re-sell for profit) because no-one is the 'Consumer'. This means there is no 'cooling-off' period and the order cannot be cancelled once processed.

Cancellations - personalised/bespoke items

Where an order is placed for an item which is to be personalised or is bespoke, cancellation is not possible once production has started and these are expressly excluded from The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations).
