IGN is the French equivalent of the UK's Ordnance Survey. They offer more than 2,000 maps of France at a variety of scales as well as excellent maps of other parts of the world. All have an easy to use key in English French and German.
A series of detailed road maps at 1:80,000 from the IGN, designed to highlight places of interest and recreational possibilities, with a city centre street plan at a scale normally 1:13,000 and an enlargement of a selected hiking in each title at a scale of 1: 30,000.

The IGN Top 25 Blue series detailed maps at 1:25 000 meet the needs of walkers, horse-riders and campers. The ET and OT maps are larger sheets covering the coastline and popular areas of France. The E and O maps cover the rest of the country. If you know the map number, just type in the number in the search box to find the map. Index maps are available by post if you wish to telephone for a copy. Only the more popular maps are held in stock, others can be ordered and will take about a week to come in.
