The map covers the Canadian Rockies in slightly less detail than the Banff-Jasper map, but takes in more territory around the Rockies. Coverage extends from Edmonton, Alberta, south through Calgary to the U.S. border, and west to Castlegar and Golden, B.C. Points of interest, lodges, guest ranches, parks, campgrounds, golf courses and ski areas are labelled.
Its ideal for people who like exploring without getting lost, because it shows not only the paved highways, but also the gravel backroads.
On the back of the map are inset maps of Western Canada, Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Canmore, and Banff and Jasper townsites, plus a mileage chart.
