Sample Map This new Up-Close map is designed for people who are only going to be in Jasper for a day or two, and want to know what to do and how to get around.
On the front is a detailed map of the Jasper townsite area, including the dense network of trails on Pyramid Bench, Maligne Canyon area to the north, and the Valley of Five Lake in the south.
All the hiking and biking trails are labelled and distances are marked. You get both contour lines and the more intuitive 3-D relief shading.
On the back of the map are brief descriptions of the sights, museums and scenic drives in Jasper, with hours of operation and admission fees noted to make it easier to plan your day. We've also included a hand-picked list of the best ten walks and day hikes in the area. We have noted the highlights of each trail, as well as distance, elevation gain and directions to the trailhead.
