The map covers an area extending to Aberystwyth, Ludlow, Kidderminster, Solihull, Coventry, Kettering, Northampton, Milton Keynes, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Chichester, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, Bournemouth, Isle of Portland, Sidmouth, Exeter, Torquay, Plymouth, St. Austell, Falmouth, Penzance, Newquay, Bude, Swansea, Milford Haven, Fishguard and Cardigan, together with an inset of the Isles of Scilly. Map information includes motorways open with full junction detail, motorways under construction and proposed, service areas, primary routes and destinations, A and B roads, gradients 1:5 and steeper, tolls, mileages, national and county boundaries, together with spot heights and contour colouring. A selection of ancillary and tourist information is included on the mapping. An index booklet is attached to the cover and this lists cities, towns, villages, hamlets and locations featured on the map.
