The new Norwegian topographic map series NORWAY-SERIES (Norge-serien) covers the whole country using a revised 1:50 000 scale grid consisting of 195 maps. Each map covers an area of 47 x 64 km, with a 2 km overlap between the map sheets. There is full coverage for Sweden, Finland and Russia where a map sheet overlaps these countries.

All the maps in the NORWAY-SERIES are double-sided which are clear to read and are printed on a thin plastic fibre material which is both water and tear resistant. The maps use EUREF89 coordinate system (WGS 84) for easy use in combination with a GPS receiver.

The NORWAY-SERIES maps are designed for an activities out of doors, these maps are suitable for hiking and recreational use througout Norway.
