Sample Map This is a CD-ROM for Windows® XP, 2000 or Vista and Windows® Mobile-based Pocket PC (version 2002 or later) or Windows Smartphone providing full colour seamless road mapping. This publication consists of coloured road mapping of Great Britain which includes motorways open with full junction detail, motorways under construction and proposed, service areas, primary routes and destinations, A & B roads. The fully searchable index of over 31,000 entries includes town, village, hamlet and place names, plus selected places of interest and airports. Typing in the search name will quickly display the relevant road map section. Printouts are permitted for personal use only.
A fully indexed copy of our 1:600,000 Great Britain Mini Road Atlas and a Planner Map are also included. The Great Britain Mini Road Atlas has an index of over 4,400 towns and airports.
The software is designed for easy route planning and map management. Routes can be added by simply clicking on the map and adding waypoints. Leg distances, compass bearing and total journey length will be displayed as the route is built. The section of mapping to be navigated, routes, waypoints or the whole atlas can be copied between the Desktop PC and Pocket PC or Windows Smartphone. All mapping is supplied on CD-ROM in Memory-Map's unique QuickChart™ file format, which allows the map to be quickly moved around the screen, even on a Pocket PC.
GPS Compatibility
Connect a GPS receiver to use real time positioning. Display a pointer arrow showing the direction, bearing and distance to the next waypoint. Create a warning zone and an alarm is activated should you enter (or leave) the zone.
