ITMB is pleased to release the 1st edition of our Tibet Travel Reference Map. A very welcome addition to ITM's range of Asia maps, though it was a 3 year effort! We give many thanks to Michael Buckley, a renowned Tibet expert, for his many hours of work on this map. Tibet is one of the most difficult places to map, as there is no forthcoming information out of either the Tibetan authorities, or the Chinese Government. On that note alone, please bear in mind that any map of Tibet is bound to be controversial. We do know that this map is the only one to show the new railway, which is due to open July 2006. Printed on durable, tear-resistant ITM Plastic Paper, double-sided, indexed. Includes inset maps of the Norbullingka, Potala Area, Barkor Area and Lhasa Valley.
