ITMB is pleased to release the 2nd edition of our Beijing City Travel Reference Map.
Our first edition of Beijing was quite a few years ago now. This is new artwork by our talented Andrew Duggan and as up to date as one could expect from this fast-changing city. The bulk of the urban area is nicely covered on the ‘micro’ side, with plenty of details of touristic attractions, shopping areas, and hotels. The ‘macro’ side is beautiful. I’ve never seen a map like this before for any part of China. This shows the entire urban area (and Beijing is HUGE!) plus interesting day trips one can take. The Great Wall is shown in grand style, the Ming tombs are noted, and, for me, a special spot, the Marco Polo Bridge (the actual bridge crossed by the great explorer/trader on his way back to Europe), which Lan and I visited last May while researching this map.
Legend includes: All roads, tracks / paths, international boundaries / border crossings, railways, road distances, elevation info, national parks, points of interest.
