This map covers the area west of Callander in the south eastern part of the National Park, including Ben Venue, Loch Ard Forest and The Trossachs. Loch Ard Forest is extensively used for mountain biking and trails are shown on the map. In the west of the area is Loch Katrine, which has a pleasure steamer service. Beside the Loch is a water board tarmac road closed to cars but providing excellent cycling. This allows you to circumnavigate the Loch on a combination of tracks and quiet roads.
