Customised Sitemap Data is the most detailed digital mapping of Great Britain in a site-centred form. With the Ordnance Survey making nearly 5 000 updates everyday, you can be sure of getting the very latest map. With a Customised Sitemap Data you can see your site relative to the surrounding area, and you only pay for the area you want.
Customised Sitemap Data comes in Data Exchange Format (DXF™) files, so it can be tailored to your needs. Viewed on screen, it can be manipulated, merged with other drawings, then plotted onto paper or film. With the appropriate software, Customised Sitemap Data can also be used to plot at a range of scales, or changed to add other relevant information.
Because Customised Sitemap Data is supplied in DXF level 1, it is compatible with most popular CAD systems, so you should not need to invest in new software.
Scale & Source: the area you define can be a pocket of data within one National Grid sheet or across several sheets, even those of differing map scales. The minimum ground area covered for any order is 4 hectares, subject to the minimum data charge set at the prevailing level. The maximum ground area you can purchase is based on certain parameters. If the majority (51% or more) of the area you define is 1:1250 scale data, the limit in any one order is 250 hectares. If the majority is 1:2500 scale data, the limit is 1000 hectares, and if an order is 80% or more of 1:10 000 scale data, the limit is 22 500 hectares.
Customised Sitemap Data is supplied in Drawing Interchange Format that is fully compatible with AutoCAD release 12 onwards. You will require software that can read drawings in DXF, for example, most CAD packages.
