This Pathfinder Guide is centred on the small town of Kyle of Lochalsh from where a bridge now links the mainland of Scotland to the Isle of Skye. All the walks begin within about an hour's travel by road from Kyle, and they range from easy coastal walks through crofting land to the high mountains of the Cuillin on Skye and Kintail. Just under half of the walks are on Skye, while most of the rest tend to lie eastwards of Kyle, into the area known as Kintail. Each book contains 28 walks graded in ascending order of difficulty, ranging from easy strolls to more demanding walks. Illustrated with colour mapping and photographs.
