Sample map This ROAD map of Parnassos features precision geophysical background provided by the Hellenic Military Geographic Service, with contour lines at 20m intervals. The road network is accurately represented, including even the most insignificant secondary and blind unsurfaced roads, and the scenic routes are highlighted in green. The mountain’s major footpaths are also included on the map. Information for nature lovers is clearly marked (altitudes of peaks, footpaths, mountain refuges, gorges, caves, beaches, springs etc.), as are sites of interest. The reverse of the map includes information about the mountain in both English and Greek and an alphabetical index and list of useful telephone numbers.
